Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have captured hearts with their enduring love story. Since meeting in 2014, the pop icon and country star have built a strong relationship that continues to inspire fans. In an appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show,” Stefani, 55, opened up about the “best advice” she’s received since marrying Shelton, 48, in 2021.

Reflecting on their relationship, Stefani shared how their connection has grown stronger over the years. The couple first met while coaching on “The Voice”. At the time, both were married – Stefani to Gavin Rossdale and Shelton to Miranda Lambert. Following their respective divorces, the two began dating in 2015 and eventually tied the knot in 2021.

Stefani described how Shelton’s grounded nature and calm approach to life influenced her incredibly. She said his steady presence has helped her navigate personal and professional challenges more peacefully and clearly.

In March 2025, Stefani released the deluxe edition of her “Bouquet” album, featuring a heartfelt new track titled “Still Gonna Love You,” co-written by American singer-songwriter Finneas O’Connell. In a statement, she said: “This song is about love – a love that can’t be broken, a love that no matter what is always going to be there, and a love that can always bring you back home.”

The lyrics reflect the deep connection she shares with Shelton and echo the love and support she feels in their marriage. Through it all, Stefani and Shelton have kept their religious faith at the center of their relationship.

During her chat on “The Drew Barrymore Show,” Stefani shared a key piece of wisdom she has embraced in her marriage while motioning upward as a nod to God:

“Best advice would probably be make sure you have a third party.”

The Grammy-winning singer opened up about their life together, admitting she prefers cozy evenings at home over glamorous nights out.

“I’m literally couch, blanket, chips,” she said. “I just have the whole thing – the dogs down right there, and then we have two couches, and Blake’s on that couch, and we’re like, ‘Hi!’”

Stefani added with a laugh:

“I would sit next to him but he’s gigantic, and we don’t fit anywhere.”

Regarding how they spend quality time, the pop star shared that quiet walks were more her speed than deep, late-night conversations.

“I think probably long strolls because I’m tired at that time. I’m so tired,” she told Barrymore. “I love to be in bed early.”

On the music front, Shelton dropped a new album titled “For Recreational Use Only” in May 2025. The project included a duet with Stefani called “Hangin’ On,” continuing their tradition of blending their personal and professional lives.

In February 2025, Shelton marked Valentine’s Day with a heartfelt Instagram tribute, posting a sweet photo of the couple along with the caption:

“Happy Valentine’s Day to my forever Valentine. I love you @gwenstefani!!!!!”

Stefani and Shelton have built a relationship grounded in faith, humor, and genuine companionship – proof that love can grow stronger when nurtured with care and connection.
