Guy Dances To 'Uptown Funk' As If No One Is Looking

Jul 20, 2020 by apost team

Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' song Uptown Funk is a positive tune that never ceases to get us smiling from ear to ear. Well, one man named Fred Rawicz has taken the song's cheerful mood one step further, with a video of him dancing to it at the Scottish festival T In the Park from 2015.

In it, he's dancing ecstatically to the song, showing off his stellar moves and simply owning his self-expression — Fred proves that we should all dance like nobody's watching because life's too short!

Getting straight into it, the video — which appears to have been filmed on a smartphone — begins with the camera already on Fred. He's at the Scottish Music Festival in the Park, and while there's space in the crowd where he's standing, it's clear that it's a busy day with a lot going on.

The song Uptown Funk can be heard playing, a smash hit from 2014 by producer Mark Ronson and featuring Bruno Mars on vocals. Immediately, Fred begins grooving to the song, firstly by getting warmed up before going into full-on dancing mode.

Before too long, he's doing splits on the ground, stomping his feet to the rhythm, kicking his legs, and waving his arms in the air — and all with a huge smile on his face! It's clear Fred is having the time of his life, and simply by enjoying himself, he's bringing positivity and happiness to all of those around him.

By the end of the video, Fred's dance routine has gathered quite the crowd around him. His final move — which sums up how he must be feeling after dancing energetically for nearly four minutes straight — has his friends and the crowd completely entranced, as they cheer him on and even jump all over him to hug and congratulate him.

Luckily someone recorded Fred's incredible moves and positive energy, and it's no surprise that the clip has gone viral, amounting to over 13.5 million views on YouTube! Viewers of the video seem just as impressed with Fred's performance, leaving many comments on the video. These include:

"Wish I had this guy's confidence."

"Always good to see someone who can have a blast without worrying what others will think"

"How can you watch that and not grin from ear to ear."

We completely agree with that last comment — it's impossible to not be uplifted and feel positive after viewing Fred's dancing and good nature in the video. The message that Fred is sending is clear — dance like nobody's watching, because it will lift your mood and the mood of those around you, possibly turning their day completely around. After all, life's too short to not give in and just have fun.
