When Princess Eugenie and Jack Brookbank had their highly-anticipated wedding, it was difficult to imagine it being any more magnificent than it was. On Friday, October 12th, they had a beautiful ceremony which was televised internationally.

Many people arrived to witness this world-class once-in-a-lifetime event. Little did they know they would see more than they had anticipated.

The wedding took place at St. George's Chapel, a section of the amazing Windsor Castle. This is the same location where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said, "I do" just a few months before in May.

All eyes were on Eugenie as she strolled in, accompanied by Prince Andrew (her father) and Princess Beatrice (her sister and also the maid of honor).

However, this event resonated with the public for reasons far deeper than how beautiful the bride was or how posh the setting may have been. In fact, some of the biggest highlights did not involve Eugenie and Jack directly. Young Prince George, only five, received a lot of attention for his role as a page boy. Princess Charlotte, at three years of age, was one of the bridesmaids.

Opera star Andrea Bocelli amazed the crowd with an incredible performance. First, he sang "Panis Angelicus," which is known as the first part of Thomas Aquinas's classic hymn, "Sacris Solemnis." Bocelli's voice was clear as a bell, his intonation perfect and his vibrato perfectly-timed and tastefully used. It is no wonder why the audience received his performance so warmly.

According to Express UK, the Royal Family shared Andrea Bocelli's performance on their Twitter page almost immediately, and it didn't take long for watchers to begin expressing their amazement with Bocelli's singing.

The post noted that Andrea Bocelli was performing with a top-notch orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic. Carlo Bernini served as conductor. They even used a hashtag for the event: #RoyalWedding.

Bocelli was not done, however. He launched into a version of "Ave Maria" that had a profound effect on the 850 audience members. In fact, it was so moving that some people even began to cry. The posts on Twitter made it reasonable to believe that people watching were just as deeply-touched as those present for the event.

Upon hearing Bocelli's spectacular encore, one woman, Sally Davis, strongly praised Bocelli's performance, calling it "sensational." She said the wedding was beautiful, and that she enjoyed it even more than she had expected to.

Andrea Bocelli, 60, maintains a very high level of popularity. In fact, his website mentions that he has sold over 90 million albums in his career. In addition, he has released over 15 recordings to date.
