Bruiser the grizzly bear did a massive belly flop in the pool of a man's backyard in Florida. Feeling proud of his stunt, he gives a big smile to the camera.

In addition to being huge and highly intelligent, grizzly bears are also very curious animals. Their search for food and resources can take them on journeys over incredible distances as they sniff them out.

It is also not a secret that the bears love to explore and run around, but one thing you might not know is that grizzlies are also excellent swimmers. That’s why when one man’s pet grizzly bear named Bruiser discovered a pool in their backyard, he couldn’t help but dive on in to take a dip.

Bruiser proceeds to execute one of the world’s biggest belly flops. Bruiser is a little fluffier than average. So the huge belly flop is not at all shocking.

Most grizzly bears weigh in somewhere between 300 to 800 pounds, with the biggest grizzly on record coming in at a whopping 1400 pounds. The amount of water displaced when a bear of that size jumps into such a tiny backyard pool is pretty impressive. And Bruiser knows it, as evident in the big smile he gives.

It turns out that Bruiser also has a friend. At the end of the video, we see another smaller bear digging around at the edge of the pool. With all that digging, he’ll probably need to take a dive in the pool sometime soon too.

In the summer heat, we can only imagine how hot it gets outside being covered with all that fur. Good thing Bruiser and his friend have access to a bear-friendly pool.

If this was the Olympics, what scored would you give to Bruiser? Let us know in the comments and get your pals to rate his belly flop, too.
