Great Granddaughter Challenges Her 97-Year-Old Great Granny To A Dance Off - But These Slick Moves Are The Last Thing She Expected

Age is just another number when you are young at heart!

Alexis Tayler, from Huntsville, Alabama, has watched her grandmother keep her spark the whole time she was growing up. Her grandmother has always been full of life, even as she celebrated her 100th birthday this year! She inspires her family with the way she stays active and hip no matter what.

When her grandmother was 97, Alexis was able to capture her youthful spirit in a video that has since become a viral hit on both Facebook and YouTube. Alexis’s eight-year-old little girl, Alaria, was dancing around the room in the video to “I’m Worth It” by Fifth Harmony.

As her grandmother watched her dance, someone off camera says that she should “Do her thang.” The older lady replied:

Granny started to shrug her shoulders to the catchy tune before anyone could even reply! Alaria smiles at her great-grandmother as she starts to dance. Granny performs a shuffling dance that makes you smile and laugh! She definitely still has it, even after all of these years!

You can then hear someone off-camera say “Get it, granny!” as granny shakes her hips in time to the music. She does have to use a cane for balance but you will be surprised to see how steady she is on her feet!

Alexis’s video quickly went viral online. The YouTube link received more than 1.7 million views while the Facebook post garnered over three million more! Everyone online agreed that this is one granny who can get down to the beat!

Many viewers chimed in with comments. Some want to be able to dance like her at her age while others simply commented how happy they were to see an old lady dance like she was young again.
