Didi Con, co-star to Olivia Newton-John in the hit movie "Grease," revealed in an interview that the actress is doing well amid her third battle with cancer.

Olivia Newton-John was diagnosed with stage-four breast cancer in 2017.

On this Monday’s episode of This Morning, Didi Con, who portrayed Frenchie in the 1978 film, said that her co-star is doing ‘beautifully well’ despite her struggle with cancer.

“The best news I heard is that Olivia Newton-John is doing beautifully well,” she said, as cited by the Daily Mail.“Her spirit shines. I just love her."

Newton-John, 70, is no stranger to cancer, as she's had breast cancer in the 1990s and shoulder cancer in 2013. In both cases, she managed to beat them. However, her recent diagnosis is much bleaker than the ones before.

“Everyday is a gift anyway, we don’t really know how long are life is and so every day is an extra bonus for me and I’m very grateful and I intend to be here for a long time, I have much to do still,” she told Entertainment Tonight in an interview.

The star is maintaining positivity even with the difficulties of her updated cancer diagnosis. She told USA Today recently,

“I’m doing well. I’m thriving. This is my word,” she said.

We’re glad Olivia is doing well, despite her diagnosis. Which one of her movies is your favorite? Let us know in the comments. Make sure you pass this along to your friends and family.
