Grateful Mother Shares Footage Of Hiding Surprise Cash In Diaper Boxes And Formula Cans At Store

Having a baby can be a great experience. People are able to become parents and take on a new sense of responsibility, as well as impart values and morals to their children. Raising a child also comes with many hardships, though, as the cost can be extremely high. Constantly having to buy formula, diapers, food, toys and bottles can be pretty expensive. One couple in Southern California decided to do something to help by hiding surprise cash in various baby objects at some local stores.
A sweet couple in Southern California decided to help out some current and future parents by taking a trip to Target stores in their surrounding area. Krystal Duhaney and her husband visited a few Target stores to hide some money in various baby necessities, such as containers of formula and boxes of diapers. This random act of kindness was done in a few stores across Southern California and the amount of money put in the various items was also just as random.
The couple made their kind donation on April 30, 2021, and a video of their gesture has since been uploaded to Instagram. The video has resonated with plenty of people as it has recently gone viral and has received plenty of positive feedback. In the video, Duhaney showed what items she put the money in and what Target stores she went to so other parents would know where to look for the surprise gifts. The couple also revealed that this day trip full of generosity wasn’t a one-time event.
Duhaney is a mother of two children, according to KABC. She and her husband frequented a couple of Target stores in their local area to help out other parents or soon-to-be parents. They slipped some cash into various baby products in the baby section at the respective stores, although the actual amount they spent was unknown.
In a video uploaded to Duhaney’s Instagram account, viewers were able to see the kind woman distributing the bills into baby formula containers, boxes of diapers and boxes of bottles. It seemed like she picked items she could easily slip cash into. Although Duhaney never specified how much money she gave away in total, one part of the video showcased her squeezing a $20 bill into a round can of baby formula.
“Being a parent can be tough!” Duhaney wrote in the post's caption. “So, Hubby and I went to various Target stores in Southern California and hid money in baby items.” The couple knew firsthand what it was like to have children and struggle financially, which is what led them to perform the random act of kindness. It wasn’t until Duhaney started her own business that the couple was able to rest a little easier at night knowing that they had a steady income coming in.
Duhaney is the founder and CEO of Milky Mama, a company that specializes in breastfeeding and pumping support. The company provides lactation products and educational resources for parents all around the world. According to the Milky Mama website, Duhaney is not only a mother and business owner, but she is also a registered nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

In the video, the couple revealed that they went to the Target stores located in Carson, Signal Hill and the Manhattan Beach area in California so parents would know which ones to visit to look for the surprising gifts. Since its upload on April 30, 2021, the video has been liked over 93,000 times and has received an immense amount of positive comments. “We hope that the parents that purchase these items have a brighter day when they find our gifts,” Duhaney wrote.
It seems like Duhaney isn’t quite done yet with handing out gifts to other parents. The kind-hearted mother ended her post by asking a question: “What stores/cities should we hit next?” While other parents in the area, or potentially other states in the country, can be on the lookout for a future donation from Duhaney, Duhaney herself has more happy reasons to celebrate. According to her Instagram bio, she is currently pregnant and is expecting her third child in October 2021!
While no news about the next day or location of Duhaney and her husband’s gifts is known, what is clear is that this couple has shown the pureness of their hearts with their recent act of kindness. After struggling financially, Duhaney and her husband persevered and are now even giving back to other parents to make sure no one else has to go through what they did. With some hard work and determination, Duhaney was able to provide for her family and can now help other families. The Duhaney family is certainly making many lives better!
