Graduation is supposed to be a happy occasion for teenagers. It's a time to celebrate their accomplishments. Many parents are left with tears in their eyes as they realize a child is one step closer to adulthood. For some teens, it means going to college, entering the workforce, or moving away from home.

Miranda's graduation went a little differently than most others. She entered the gym with the rest of her classmates. She didn't think that she would start crying in front of them. The class was graduating from their Florida high school and getting settled while wearing their caps, gowns, and their best attire.

Shortly after the graduates were seated, a special speaker appeared on the stage.

The speaker asked that the class stand for The Pledge of Allegiance as the ceremony got underway. Miranda started to cry in front of everyone! Most of the people around her could hear her crying and wanted to know what was wrong with her. Miranda knew who the speaker was, and she was happy to see the person on stage.

Miranda took off running to the stage to hug the speaker. The uniformed speaker was Miranda's brother. He had been deployed for some time, and Miranda didn't think that he would be back for her graduation.

He wanted to surprise his sister by walking onto the stage in a way that she would not soon forget so that she would have the most important people with her on her special day.
