Golden Retrievers Know How To Unwind At Pool

Lucky and Daisy are golden retrievers who know how to relax. They show us exactly how to do that as they lounge lazily in the pool in a video posted by their owner on YouTube in 2011.

Whether it's cooling off after a hard day's work, or trying to catch some rays of beautiful sun, the pool is the perfect place to relax. When spring starts warming up, getting in or near the water is a recipe for refreshment. And golden retrievers Lucky and Daisy know how to get in the pool in style!

It's clear that Lucky and Daisy have some pretty amazing humans who make sure they have everything they need. That "everything" includes rest and relaxation in the pool, and the pups couldn't be happier about it.

In their video, the two golden retrievers are napping in what's obviously a favorite spot. But this is not just any nap, because these are not just any dogs. Since they love relaxing in the water, Lucky and Daisy have gotten some special accommodations.

When Lucky and Daisy get in the pool, they each have their own comfy floating napping-spot. Each dog lies in an over-sized floating chair. It's the kind of chair that looks like a fluffy recliner with a footrest. The dogs are living it up, and loving it!

Sunning themselves and napping, the dogs look like they're trying to get a tan –– or at least their daily dose of vitamin D! They happily share the pool with their human, but it's obvious that the dogs are not giving up the chair-floaties any time soon. Wisely, no one is trying to kick them off of their thrones, either!

The background music for Lucky and Daisy's video is perfect: Don't Worry, Be Happy plays as the pups laze around in the water. That song seems to sum up their whole attitude. Clearly, these dogs have no worries. And, of course, they're definitely happy.

When you think of dogs in the pool, you generally think of the pups that love to get wet. They swim, they catch a ball, they cool off. Then they hop out of the pool, shake off, and relax. But these pups? They've got it made. They don't even have to get wet if they don't want to.

Do you know any pups who have acquired custom pool-napping spots? Or have you met any dogs who prefer to just sun themselves in the pool, rather than get wet? Let us know about your favorite dogs' pool experiences. And tell a friend about Lucky and Daisy and their fun in the sun!
