Girls Become Best Friends At The Hospital, Then Reunite Years Later For “Survivors” Photoshoot

In 2016, four little girls were fighting for their lives at the John Hopkins Children's Hospital. Lauren, Chloe, Ava, and McKinley were all trying to beat the odds against cancer. As young as they were, they didn't comprehend the gravity of their condition, and would meet each other at the hospital. The girls developed a rather unique bond because they saw similarities in each other - they were all bald.

McKinley, Ava, and Lauren were battling Leukemia while Chloe was fighting one of the rarest forms of lung cancer. The four girls supported each other by playing like normal kids whenever they met each other.

The bonding allowed them to forget about the painful chemotherapy procedures that they had to go through. At the time, the children were aged between 4 and 5 years old.

There was also a bond developed by the mothers of these four little angels. They would support each other by discussing some of the challenges that they go through. The talking helped them come to terms with their children's condition and cope with the fear and anxiety of not knowing what might happen to their precious girls.

After two years of chemotherapy treatment, the cancer went into remission and the girls' condition improved. Last year, they reunited for a photo shoot at the hospital. It was such a wonderful sight to see that the girls remembered each other and were glad to be reunited.

The medical staff were also overjoyed after seeing the girls healthy and smiling again.

The young girls are proud to call themselves survivors of cancer after a series of intensive treatments. For now, the sky is the limit for them. They have their whole lives waiting for them. Interestingly, the girls were so excited to see each other that they convinced their parents to make the reunion an annual event.

Their story is truly remarkable. To see young girls get a second chance at life is truly amazing. If you enjoyed this article, tell your friends about it or send them a link to this page. You can also tell us what you think about these four amazing girls.
