Last July, the sweet girl competed in the Ultimate Beauty of the World pageant. It came as no surprise to anyone when Kate was crowned the "Teen Ultimate Beauty Of The World."

Diedre said that she is proud of her daughter for breaking so many barriers in the modeling industry. Kate was part of the BBC documentary "Role Model." It was this appearance that led to the invitation to compete in the Ultimate Beauty pageant.

The proceeds from this year's pageant will go to the Make A Wish Foundation. Deidre said that was one of the reasons that Kate wanted to participate.
