Boogie Woogie music and dance began in the late 19th century and really reached its peak in the 1920s during the era of the big bang. The soul instrument of this music style is the piano. When it comes to the dancer, the legs are what makes the boogie-woogie dance what it is. In this video, just look at the legs of the man as he dances this old but gold dance.

In it, pianist Silvan Zingg plays the original song, "Dancin' The Boogie", that was iconic for its era and is the true representation of the Boogie Woogie. The dance takes place in 2004 at the LaRoquebrou Festival. The dance is performed by French dancers Maeva Trumtzer and William Mauvais.

The dance is just amazing to look at. The clothes of the dancers are a plain t-shirt and pants. However, they are arranged in an interesting fashion. The shirt of the woman and the pants of the man are yellow while the girl's pants and the guy's shirt are black.

When the dance begins, the guy moves his yellow pants in a fashion that makes it hard to trace his movements. The woman does not fall far behind. The two interchange their places and move along with the music as it was done at the beginning of the 20th century. It is amazing to think that all people were expected to dance this seemingly complicated dance in the last century.
