A sweet German Shepherd has finally found his forever home after his previous owners had to give him up.
The previous family was heartbroken to learn that they could not keep Rocco because they were worried about how he would react to their new baby. The family took the three-year-old dog to a kennel in Dallas, Texas.
However, Rocco did not deal well with the transition. According to the Dodo, a woman visiting the kennel noticed that Rocco seemed terrified and she decided to film him so that she could post a video on her social media account encouraging a rescue group to take in the dog.

Foster dog careworker Preethi Pillaipakkam saw the video and decided that she was the one who should rescue Rocco. Pillaipakkam said that Rocco was extremely skittish and scared when she first met him. She even has a picture of Rocco hiding behind the seat in her vehicle.
It was a long and slow process, but eventually, the dog began to relax.
Although he was underweight when he was rescued, he quickly bounced back and gained more weight. The rescue dog operation put a posting about the dog online and Rocco was able to find him a forever home. He now has an Instagram page with over 6,000 followers.
This adorable video will make you feel better about Rocco's current living situation. Fostering a pup is such a noble act and this video will encourage others to be that special human for an animal in need.
