German Shepherd Pups Are Overactive—Mom Makes Stealthy Plan To Wear Them Out

A German shepherd worked out a sneaky plan to tire down her hyperactive puppies, and it worked perfectly. Mothers across the world know that playing by running around and chasing is a great way to help little ones spend their pent up energy as well as get them down for a nap later. This mama dog too knows the trick, and it was thankfully captured on video for us to see these adorable puppies run around with their mother. We can’t seem to trace the origin of the video but we found it on the internet and loved it.

The German shepherd puppies' mother appears to be loving and wonderful as she spends time with the little ones. She takes her time to play with her babies until she is also exhausted. From the footage, it seems that the mother knew a trick that mamas across the world use to keep their babies busy. It seems like she has worked out a plan to ensure the kids got tired, thus allowing her to get some rest.

As the family played in a large open field, the mom knew what she had to do to wear down her super energetic kids. Since the open area was a perfect spot for some family exercise, the mother took charge and started running around. To drain the pups' energy, the German shepherd mother makes circular runs as the puppies follow her. She may have understood that by doing so, the puppies will spend their pent up energy playing.
As the family exercises, mom takes advantage of her speed to ensure the little puppies do not catch up with her. The entire exercise seems like a game of tag and chase, which the puppies are enjoying.
It certainly helps that this is one of the sweeter moments to be caught on camera. Animal families are much like humans, and there are more things we have in common than we think.
Though we couldn't find the origin of the video, we loved seeing this adorable trick this German Shephard uses to get her babies to sleep. It seems to be a universal knowledge for mamas that tiring little ones out can give better opportunities to rest later. After all, these little bundles of energy love playing with mama, and this helps everyone to also bond better.
