Many of us have fond memories of wildlife from our childhoods. Perhaps you went fishing with your dad, went on adventures in nature with your siblings, or went to feed the ducks with your mother, but whatever the case, we’ve all learned that animals and wildlife are amazing to witness.
Spending time outside in nature can help us learn more about the world around us, and there’s no better way to learn about animals than to witness them firsthand.
If you observe animals outside or even on TV in nature documentaries, you may notice a trend that some animals bring those of other species into their families. According to research on the BBC, scientists have seen monkeys, seals, and gulls fall into this behavior for evolutionary reasons. But what about geese?

Although geese don’t exactly have a reputation for being friendly and can often be hostile to humans, it seems like they sure know how to take care of their families! In one adorable video, you’ll witness a mother goose walking her children through a grassy area, keeping them safely in line. But when you see what she’s hiding behind her, you may not believe your eyes!
The geese are trotting around together, forming a line as you've seen before. But once the line starts moving forward and more of the birds come into view, it seems like the mother goose has adopted an adorable duckling into her family, as he happily waddles behind her and her biological children. He seems to fit right in, perhaps not even knowing that he was adopted into another family!

The adorable sight is too cute for words, and watching the birds march around town together will warm anyone’s heart. What do you think about this blended family? Have you ever seen these two animals together in this way before?
