Repetition doesn't always have to be a bad thing. With regards to Gabby Barrett's recent performance on American Idol of the Miranda Lambert song "Little Red Wagon", it's clear that repetition can also show intention and growth.

Earlier in the season, while in the top 10, Barrett had performed the song for the judges to acclaim, but there was an air of insecurity throughout that suggested perhaps she hadn't really grasped the song yet.

The judges seem to agree, with Lionel Richie saying that Barrett looks comfortable and truly has a command of the stage, with Katy Perry saying that her performance truly shows growth from earlier on in the season.

There were some critiques about letting her body reflect her newfound freedom in the style of hair flips and walking around the stage more, but for the most part these criticisms seem largely unfounded.

You can see the evidence in the video, which is sure to amaze you—Barrett runs around the stage with a ferociousness that can only be brought out by singing an empowering country song!
