Although harsh winters can be difficult and frustrating for everybody, it’s important to remember that animals that live outdoors have no choice but to bare the cold temperatures on their own with no assistance. For one cat, her story begins with a snowstorm.

Although she had owners and didn’t live permanently outdoors, she was found entirely buried inside of a snowbank and had likely been stuck there for hours in freezing temperatures before she was found.

For one cat, her story begins with a snowstorm. Although she had owners and didn’t live permanently outdoors, she was found entirely buried inside of a snowbank and had likely been stuck there for hours in freezing temperatures before she was found, according to ABC News,

Thankfully, her owners did the right thing and rushed her to an animal hospital where she was able to receive treatment. The workers at Kalispell Animal Clinic in Montana did their best to revive the cat from the trauma that her experience put her through and tried to get her body temperature back up immediately.

The veterinarians treating the cat named Fluffy were astonished at her condition and noted that they had never seen anything quite like it in all of their years of service. The cat was covered from head to toe in ice balls, and her temperature was down so far that no thermometer would even pick up her exact numbers. To warm Fluffy up, she was treated with heating pads and warm bathwater in order to try to create some sort of stimulation for the unresponsive kitty.

"I’ve never seen this," Dr. Jevon Clark told KULR8

Once her temperature began to rise, she was treated with IV fluids and got to sleep in a heated crate overnight to allow her some much needed warm rest. Surely, she had been a little traumatized from the scary situation.

But Fluffy’s story got a happy ending when she actually made a full recovery! She began to walk and move around again after some time at the facility, and it seems like she’ll live a long and healthy life after her unfortunate incident after being found buried in a snow bank. On Facebook, the Animal Clinic wrote that Fluffy is "amazing" and "now completely normal."

Thankfully, her owners were able to eventually bring her back home but they have made some adjustments to her routine. Fluffy will now remain indoors with them and will no longer be able to go outside and get into trouble!

Thankfully, cats have nine lives and Fluffy will continue to live out the rest of her eight remaining lives with her owners in a safe and warm home. What do you think about this story? Let us know in the comments section below and pass on this miraculous story to all the animal-lovers you know.
