After some years of self-reflection, Jennifer Aniston is ready to open up her heart and fall into a relationship with a new man to share a future together. The "Friends" superstar had such high-profile relationships in the past that her love life, and its subsequent breakups, always landed the headlines and kept her romantic life under scrutiny.

The first popular guy Aniston dated was Charlie Schlatter, her co-star in the "Ferris Bueller" TV series in 1990. Aniston's relationship with Schlatter was brief, but this introduced her to the dating life in Hollywood.

Aniston also went on a date with comedian and former late-night host Jon Stewart before getting into a serious relationship with actor Tate Donovan for two years. The two were already broken up when Donovan guest-starred on her hit TV series for six episodes. In an interview with Us Weekly, Donovan said that he was dying inside while filming his scenes with Aniston on "Friends" because they were both still nursing broken hearts.

After Donovan, Aniston met and fell in love with Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt who became her first husband. Everyone thought that their marriage in 2000 was the perfect match because she was a major TV star and he was a big name in the movies. However, their five-year marriage ended in divorce when Pitt fell in love with Angelina Jolie

To move on from Pitt, Aniston had a short-lived romance with Vince Vaughn while they filmed "The Break-Up" and she was also rumored to have dated Bradley Cooper, Gerard Butler and John Mayer before falling in love with Justin Theroux in 2007. Aniston became Theroux's bride in 2015, but the couple divorced after two years.

In a December 2022 cover story with Allure, Aniston said that she was looking forward to a new relationship, but she's not interested in getting married anymore. Though she is not completely closing the door on tying the knot again, all she wants, for now, is for someone to be there to support her.

"It would be wonderful to come home and fall into somebody's arms and say, 'That was a tough day,'"

The actress consciously shunned dating for some years after her divorce from Theroux to work on herself, her contentment and her happiness. Aniston confessed she didn't want to be with someone until she worked on her issues with intimacy or relationships.

Friends of the superstar said that the timing is right for Aniston to find new love again, but she's not putting pressure on herself.

"She knows that when the time’s right, it will happen for her and she’s confident that 2023 is going to be her year for love."

Meanwhile, fans of "Friends" had hoped that Aniston would end up with her co-star David Schwimmer in real life after they both admitted that they had a crush on each other while working on the show’s early seasons. However, both actors said they never pursued a romantic relationship because they have so much respect for each other's boundaries.

Despite rumors that she and Jon Hamm, who is working with Aniston in "The Morning Show" season 3, are flirting on the set, her friends said that she's still very much single and excited about the prospect of dating again.
