Four-Year-Old Son Supports Mother As She Is Taking Her First Steps

Constantly attempting to make your life better, those who experience physical hardships take it one day at a time and are always striving to better themselves. Whether it is through physical activity, therapy, or mindfulness, taking steps to improve life with a physical disability is an important goal for those who need something to hold on to. In this video, a mom who is in a wheelchair is seen to be pushing up from her device and shakily standing on her own. Despite the mom's unsteady nature of standing, she bravely pushes herself up and stands up strong. You can see her determination and focus on her face as she struggles to stay upright.
Yet, you can also tell by the look in her eyes that she knows just how important this little step is in the bigger road to taking steps on her own. As the mom struggles to regain her balance and take a few steps on her own, a completely unexpected individual appears from the background.

Helping His Mom Like It is His Top Priority
The small figure who we see running in from the background of this clip is undeniably the son of this determined mom. As she tries to take a few steps, the 4-year-old son takes his place at her side and provides stability and assistance. Taking his spot at his mom's side, the little boy grabs her hand and demonstrates how to take steps right at her side.
Providing encouragement and staying alongside her, the boy continues to provide stability and mimics the act of walking in a way that his mom will clearly see. Despite her apparent knowledge of how to walk, the mom seems to appreciate the companionship her son provides.
Helping Wherever He is Needed
The 4-year-old boy stays right at his mom's side until she walks all the way to the camera that is filming them. Upon reaching the camera, the young boy exclaims he will get her chair. Rushing over to grab the wheelchair she emerged out of, the young boy pushes it up behind her so she can take a seat and rest.
