You never know when or where help will come from. A young boy found that out when his father went into cardiac arrest.

The two of them had gone to a middle school basketball court for some special father-son time. Everything seemed normal until his father fell. The man stretched out on the blacktop and became unresponsive. His terrified young son didn't know how to help or what to do.

Enter two brothers and their friends. Kei'Shon and KeiJuan Paige, Ricardo Smith, and Mark Jones who were also on the court that day. The young men from Virginia had planned to play some pickup basketball on that Sunday afternoon.

It was Kei'Shon, Mark, Ricardo, and KeiJuan, though, who noticed the man lying on the court.

At first, they figured he was just tired, but when time went by without him moving, they realized something else was going on. They approached the young boy, who was still hovering at his father's side, to see what was wrong.

It immediately became apparent that the man wasn't resting; he was gravely ill.

Even though none of the guys had medical training or knowledge, they somehow knew what to do. They did a quick check and found that the man was cold. His chest and stomach were hard and tight. They tried to help him up but he still didn't respond.

Kei'Shon believes that God gave him the ability to help. He'd never taken any CPR lessons, but he performed the procedure.

When the man's son began crying, Mark, Ricardo, and KeiJuan tried to lead him away. They didn't want him to see his father in that condition. They went out of their way to take care of him, even driving him to his mother's home.

Kei'Shon continued CPR until paramedics arrived. The other young men stayed with the little boy and his mother, trying to keep them calm.

The best part? The man survived his ordeal, and it was all thanks to the kindness and quick thinking of four young strangers.
