Foster Dad Refused To Put Puppy To Sleep, Gave Him A Second Chance

Lou Robinson and Mark Bowlin adopted an adorable dog that is classified as a runt puppy. It is a white boxer with congenital defects. Typically the mother of puppies abandons a dog that is a runt, and at times these dogs can be put to sleep as well.

These new pet owners are actually experienced in rescuing dogs, but they are in for a challenge as this pup has no front legs.

This couple was given a predicament as to putting the dog to sleep or keeping him. When the mother of the puppies would feed her young ones, unfortunately, his siblings would push him away. Then the young couple took him to the veterinarian clinic. After the veterinarian gave advice to put the young puppy down, they decided as a couple to keep the white boxer and try to help him in every way, reports Click2Houston.

Instead of being put to sleep, this young puppy named Nubby was adopted by this couple. Lou Robinson and Mark Bowlin refused to let this puppy suffer or be put down. He is a very unique puppy that was born with only two legs. His back legs are normal while his front legs haven't grown. Although this puppy got the chance to be adopted and live in a new home, there were lots of challenges that came up.

When the puppy became one month old, he didn't have regular bowel movements and also started sneezing a lot. The couple, worried about the pup's health and took him to the veterinarian hospital to get an X-ray. The poor young puppy had issues with his esophagus and was given antibiotics to hopefully solve the issue. The strong puppy was fighting for his life and did not give up.

The young puppy is now three years old and lives with the couple happily. Nubby fought hard against his sickness and survived. He has shown his owners that he is a strong resilient dog and lives a very happy life. Nubby can be found on the internet living happily with his owners. They do get an audience online and receive lots of love.

This young runt dog is born with abnormal features including his front legs undeveloped. Despite this young puppy going through abnormal challenges since birth, young Nubby found a loving home. His owners take very good care of him.
