A man in Australia is going to rather extreme measures to get that big catch above the waters of the Upper Coliban Reservoir.
The Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority is looking into a video report that shows a man using a drone to lift himself up in a chair high above the water before he casts his line to go fishing. The crazy footage was recently posted by the Brisbane-based drone seller UAV Me. The video shows the man being lifted up in the metal chair by the drone and then being carried several meters as he soars over the waters of the Upper Coliban Reservoir, located in central Victoria state. The man even has a Victoria Bitter in a cup holder. He seems to be clearly enjoying his stunt.

The man has recently been identified as Sam Foreman. While the video, rather incredibly, actually seems to show him reeling in a fish before heading back to shore, authorities and drone experts have both said that this is a dangerous idea. As reported by Australia's ABC News, CASA spokesperson Peter Gibson said that there is a lot that could have gone wrong with this stunt. Not only is it dangerous, but breaches of aviation regulations can also result in hefty fines.
While we can't deny that it does kinda look like fun, it's important to remember that it could have resulted in a serious accident. So the next time you want to go fishing, it's probably wise to stick to a boat or that old familiar spot by the shore.
The video of the incident is truly a sight to behold. Do you know anybody who would have been crazy to try this as well? After you have watched this silly stunt, make sure to show this video to them.
