Following Months Of Practice, Sisters Are Ready To Show Off Routine — But Viewers Can't Keep Their Eyes Off Little Brother

A pair of sisters showed off their incredible cheer routine while their brother tried to steal the show from the background. During a video uploaded in October 2016, two sisters grabbed their pom-poms to demonstrate their routine they had been rehearsing for months. While they were focused and disciplined with their quick and meticulous movements, their brother had some different ideas in the background — unbeknownst to them.
Siblings constantly try to one-up each other, especially when they’re younger. No one wants to feel like they aren’t getting the most attention from their parents. The mother of these three adorable children decided to help out her daughters and videotape their fun cheer routine for them to watch back later. She ended up getting a bit more than she bargained for, as her children decided they all wanted their own chance to show off their skills and creativity.
In the video uploaded by YouTube user Kim Kramer, the siblings all had their time to shine, whether it was completely planned or not. While the YouTube account has been active since March 2015, the first video on the platform is by far the most popular. The channel also includes plenty of videos showing off the children and all their combined athletic abilities.
The sisters wanted to demonstrate their impressive skills, but their brother decided that he also wanted to be included in the routine. Although he didn’t know any of the moves, that didn’t stop him from having a great time and dancing along to the fun song.

Make Your Hands Clap
The song playing throughout the cheer routine was “HandClap” by Fitz and the Tantrums. They got their start in Los Angeles, California, forming back in 2008. The band focuses mainly on the genres of indie-pop and neo-soul and has released plenty of fun and inventive material over the span of its career.
The high-energy song was released in March 2016 and helped the group reach their highest place on music charts, with the song peaking at no. 53 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It was released as the lead single off of their self-titled third studio album, which later peaked at no. 17 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart. The song is passionate and details the singer’s desire to show his love interest just how much he is interested. The lyrics are honest and coy, with the catchy chorus repeating the words “I can make your hands clap” over a series of clapping sounds.
The mother of the three children seemed to have gotten a good laugh from her son’s performance, just like many of the 3.9 million viewers who have watched the video since its original upload. In the description of the video, the mother writes, “My daughters had me videotape them practicing their cheer dance so they could watch it and critique themselves. They had absolutely no clue that their brother was stealing the show in the background!” The mother went on to show some appreciation for her son’s impressive performance. “But their brother sure does have some dance moves,” she raved.

Siblings Show Off Their Routine
The video started with two sisters with their pom-poms being held against their sides, ready for the music to start and for their routine to begin. As “HandClap” played throughout the family’s living room, the sisters lit up. They smiled and showed off their impressive coordinated routine, pom-poms moving merrily in the air. As the girls continued their synchronized dancing, their brother decided it was his time to shine.
With a shirt that stated “no risk no reward,” their brother seemed to follow the mantra as he busted out some moves of his own. He was incredibly aware of the camera as he made eye contact with it for most of the video, pointing dramatically and directly at the lens as he grabbed the viewer’s attention.
Every time the song played the lyrics “I can make your hands clap,” the sisters had a great move to go along with it. Sometimes they shook their pom-poms above their heads in the air, while other times they clapped along to the beat, following the lyrics’ instructions. Their brother didn’t have any pom poms or any moves related to their routine, but he managed to shine in his own way. Each time the catchy lyric blasted through the speakers in the family’s living room, he smacked his own butt along to the beat of the music. He kept up with the rhythm as the song continued and his sisters’ routine came to an end.
While the girls did their best to practice their fun and expert cheer routine, their brother showed off his unique yet impressive dancing in the background, unbeknownst to them.
