In September 2021, Bozzi found internet fame after managing to trap an alligator using just a trash bin before he quickly and safely released it in a nearby bushy area with a body of water, according to USA Today. He was branded a hero and easily recognized for his courageous actions, and it seems like he is still doing everything in his power to look out for his neighbors.

On Oct. 9, 2021, Bozzi shared a video on his Instagram account of him wrangling a snake with just a broom, a towel, and his bare hands. With the hashtag #alligatorman, he captioned the video, “D*** snakes in the house and grass lol. Returned to his area in the dark lol yikes.”

The video showed Bozzi carrying the snake under a towel as he held it at arm’s length. According to the Miami Herald, the veteran wore the same kind of attire he had on during his encounter with an alligator the month prior, which consisted of a T-shirt, baggy shorts, and athletic sandals with socks. People once again commended him for his selfless bravery.

On Oct. 12, 2021, Bozzi uploaded another Instagram video with an update on the snake situation. “My snake friend came back,” he joked, explaining that they had worked out their differences. Speaking about the alligator incident with Philadelphia magazine, Bozzi expressed that he “honestly didn’t have any fear” and that he just acted to protect his family. It seems like he’s kept that mindset when it comes to dealing with any animal thrown his way.
