Five Navy Men Take The Stage But The Moment They Look Up The Crowd Goes Wild

Everyone loves the music from “Jersey Boys.” And how could you not, when it’s so catchy and groundbreaking?

And thanks to a new viral video, we know one crowd that definitely appreciates the tunes from this 2005 musical. The United States Navy has a chorus, where talented men came together to sing tunes from the musical on stage to a packed crowd!

Their skill and enthusiasm for the music got the crowd so pumped up that everyone was singing and dancing along to the tunes! It’s hard to even watch the video without wanting to sing along yourself. Once the video of their performance hit the internet, people couldn’t stop sharing it. Now, the video is going viral for all the right reasons!

But what exactly is the chorus of the United States Navy? Many people are unaware that this branch actually has its own dedicated band, and plenty of singing talent to go along with it!

The chorus members are called the “Sea Chanters,” and it’s been a tradition that has upheld for over six decades. The chorus was founded by Lieutenant Harold Fultz, along with the help from many students of the Navy School of Music.

They wanted to create a way that they could sing during the State of the Nation celebration, and creating the chorus was their best bet! Now, years later, the chorus has grown so much that it features dozens of Navy men that all bring their own unique flair to the singing group.

After being around for decades, the group known as the Sea Chanters perform on stages across the country and all around the world! No matter where they’re performing, however, the crowd absolutely goes wild for their talent and unique singing style.

It's amazing to see Navy men with such outstanding vocal ability and stage presence. Clearly, these men are talented in many areas of their life! The chorus also has a special appreciation for the band that plays their instrumentals, as they know the show couldn’t go on without them!
