Fireman Loses His Life In Line Of Duty, Brother Finds Letter He'd Written In Case He Would Pass Away Early

Lieutenant Brad Clark spent some of his time helping people who were in danger. He was a Fire/EMS responder in Hanover County, Virginia until a tractor-trailer ran into a fire engine and took his life while he was on call. As if he knew his fate, he wrote a letter to his wife and family members and saved it for the future.

It seems Brad wanted to express his feelings to his loved ones after he was gone. In a room filled with people who came to his funeral, Brad’s brother, Jonathan, read his brother’s words after finding the letter his sibling had written before his death.

In the letter, Brad expresses his sorrow for not being able to be around to continue to see his four daughters mature. He says that he prays they will express love for God and for the people who make them happy. He also tells his family that he will forever keep an eye on them, and he will never fail to be with them. Brad ends his letter by telling them he loves them very much.

People worldwide came to honor Brad’s memory the day his touching letter was read. He was a loving man that risked his life to save the lives of others, and he was a loving husband and father.
