Back in 2018, Marc Daniels of Bermuda became a star in the parenting world, with many giving him the well-deserved nickname of “Daderina.” Helping his young daughter fight through her stage fright, Daniels easily took the stage at one of her recitals and helped her shine like the star she is. His then 2-year-old daughter, Isabella, was so overwhelmed with her own emotions that she curled up on the floor and cried instead of dancing alongside her friends. Daniels failed to console her off-stage and knew he needed to take further action.

Daniels hopped on the stage and began performing some of the dance moves, hoping to make his daughter feel more comfortable. Not only did he help his toddler, but he also held his adorable baby in his arms while doing so. After showing off some twirls and pirouettes, Daniels easily earned the title of Daderina. The crowd loved his performance, and it was evident that Daniels would do anything for his children. Since then, the video of his epic dance moves has gone viral, and his popularity has really taken off.

Now, Daniels is ready to take the world by storm once again with a book about the escapade that captured the hearts of so many people all around the world. From working at a law firm to helping his daughter on stage to becoming an author, it seems like there’s nothing this dad can’t do. Released on Aug. 31, 2021, Daniels published the children’s book called “The Story of Daderina,” which tells the tale of how a moment of pure love toward his daughter has gone on to become an international phenomenon.

Speaking with the Independent back in June 2018, Daniels talked about what made him jump on stage to help his daughter. “Bella was very emotional and needed hugs from her daddy,” he said. “Despite having a tantrum, I can tell she wanted to stay on stage. I didn’t want to discourage her before the big performance by making her be the only one to come off.”

Daniels has always been supportive of his children, he adds. “I’ve practiced with them at home on many occasions so it wasn’t unfamiliar to me,” he said, explaining why he felt so comfortable dancing on stage beside his daughter. It was clear that everyone in the audience was blown away by not only his moves but also by the amount of love he had for his daughter.

According to Daniels, it’s never too late to become something you’ve never been before. “Before having the girls I don’t think I’d ever attempted any ballet moves before, but now everyone in Bermuda knows me for my toe-pointing — maybe it’s never too late to become a ballerina,” he told The Sun. It looks like Daniels has added another title to his roster: author.

Publishing a children’s book on Aug. 31, 2021, Daniels has continued to make headlines with “The Story of Daderina.” The book follows the heartwarming moment that so many people have been able to witness thanks to the power of social media. The book is described as documenting “a spontaneous demonstration of love, caught on camera, shared on social media, which became a global sensation.” The paperback edition will be available on Sept. 9, 2021.
