Many of us find ourselves wanting to grow up to be just like our moms and dads when we were children. Good parents become our go-to people when looking for advice and guidance when we become adults, and might even end up inspiring us to follow in their footsteps.

One particular father-son photo is warming hearts everywhere. Officer Andy Gould, who serves the Washington Police Department had a photo taken in his police car with his son back in 1998.

Michael, Andy’s son was only a child at the time, too small to reach the pedals of the police cruiser, but he already knew he wanted to grow up to be in the police force just like his dad.

Last year, the father-son duo decided to recreate the 20-year-old photo and place it next to the original. The result? Priceless!

With the Gould men protecting the streets of Washington, it’s safe to say crime does not stand a chance!

What do you think of their photo remake? Have you ever redone a photo from years ago with your family? We would love to see it - so make sure you post it in the comment section below, and pass this along to your friends and family!
