It is amazing what parents are motivated to do when they are inspired by their children.

Si Hall proved this fact when he took up running a 10K every day to raise money for his son's charity. The 34-year-old father of two hails from Bacup, Lancashire, England. Hall's oldest son was diagnosed with autism in November 2017. Hall immediately got to work and decided he wanted to raise money for his son and his cause.

During the summer of 2016, Hall had begun running again in an effort to get himself in shape. However, after his son, Isaac, was given the autism diagnosis, Hall decided he wanted to do something special.

Hall felt as if he would be able to comfortably run a 10K. So he decided to commit to running one 10K per day for an entire year.

Hall said that he had to rely heavily on his family for support in achieving this goal. Because running so much every day took up a large chunk of his free time, he needed his family to be extra understanding of this mission. Hall said that his wife, Becky, or his dad watched the kids every evening so that he could get in his run for the day.

The running took a toll on Hall's body. Fortunately, he only suffered minor injuries during the process. He also went through five pairs of running shoes over the course of the year.

This inspirational story should be spread with everyone that you know. The power of the human spirit is incredible!
