Life can be short at times and as soon as 30th of January 2019, Tony Gibson, aged 33 years, took his last breath after a human version of the mad cow disease had affected him for quite a while.

During the sad occasion, his wife, Danielle Gibson, held him in her arms as she sang a calming tune of ‘Amazing Grace.’  She told the Inside Edition that this was Tony’s favorite hymn and the best possible way to bring him to his calm senses.

The Tennessee man who was also the father of 4 children had suffered from a rare disease that eventually limited him from moving, speaking or communicating with anyone.

Before the devastating disease, Tony and Danielle had lived a very peaceful life raising a set of 2 twins aged 11 and 2 years respectively.

Confused and agitated by the situation, Tony was finally able to remain calm as he heard the tune sang by his wife during his last moments.

At the dawn of 2017, Tony’s usual behavior had started to take a turn for the worse and his entire family noticed the changes and became worried. The problem started when Tony began to experience sudden memory relapses that would get extreme to the point he would forget simple daily tasks.

There are times he would even forget what he was doing or even where he was.

One time, Tony had left the house and didn’t return. His wife later received a call reporting his whereabouts at the Nashville Airport where he was trying to figure out where his car was parked.

The situation gradually got out of hand because Danielle had to label every single door and item in the house just to help her husband cope his deteriorating memory.

After a series of doctor visits, their final resort led them to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Tennessee where he was reported to have Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease.

Despite no real evidence showing where the disease came from, Tony’s life eventually came to a confusing end.

Overall, the outcome was fatal but the good thing is that Tony can now rest in peace and away from all the pain and suffering.

At this moment, the least way you can help Tony’s family is by keeping them in your prayers as they go through this difficult period.
