Father Honors Daughter By Decorating House With 300,000 Lights For Christmas

There's usually a reason behind some of the decorations that you use at Christmas. It could be to honor someone you love or because you enjoy a certain theme.

A father decorated his house with thousands of lights as a way to remember his daughter. The catch is that he blames himself for her death.

The only thing the father wanted to do was raise his little girl to grow up with everything she needed in her life. When you take that life away by accident, it can haunt you forever. Brad Henn has experienced this feeling for the past five years.

Brad's 21-month-old daughter was underneath his truck when it rolled over on her. Although he tried to save her, there was nothing that could be done. He had killed his little girl. Brad hasn't been able to put the images of that day aside. He always thinks about what his little girl would be like now and the relationship that they would have.

Shortly after she died, Brad decorated his house for Christmas with close to 300,000 lights. He named his design London because that was his daughter's name. He decorated the yard with trees of all kinds and lights on the windows and the doors.

When Brad decorated the first year, he didn't think that he would continue it to the next, but it became a way for him to remember his little girl. For close to 200 hours each year, Brad gets all of the lights put in place so that his family and neighbors can view them. It takes almost 2 months for Brad to finish the design. More lights and decorations are added each year.
