One of the hardest things that a parent faces is the death of a child. When that child commits suicide, it often makes the situation 10 times worse than it should be with anger and guilt involved for many parents. There have always been people who bully each other, but the latest epidemic of kids bullying other kids is at an astronomical level.

Byron John now has to go through life without his 14-year-old son because he was bullied to the point of committing suicide. Bradley John hanged himself because other kids at his school called him names and tormented him in other ways to the point that the only way out that he thought of was killing himself.

Bradley hanged himself in a bathroom at St. John Lloyd Roman Catholic School. As if this wasn't a horrible situation in itself, his sister was the one who found him. The teachers and other staff members at the school knew that the bullying was taking place. They did nothing to stop the kids who were causing Bradley so much depression.

Byron is now blaming the school for his son's death. He wants someone to take responsibility for the death of his son because someone should have suspended the kids who were bullying Bradley or done something else to put a stop to the hateful words.

One thing that Byron doesn't understand is how his son could have been missing for an hour before anyone in the school bothered to do anything about trying to find him. During this time, Bradley hanged himself in a bathroom stall. This is more than just a father who has lost his child. It's about a father who has lost his friend and a sister who had to see the despair that bullying inflicts on other people.

Bradley's father has submitted a request that the headmaster be removed from the school. Officials with the school as well as officers are investigating the incident to determine exactly how this kind of act could have taken place to begin with. Even if there is someone held responsible, Byron has lost his son and will never get his son back. That is something that can't be changed in the future no matter how many apologies are made.
