Father-Daughter Photo Shoot Breaks Gender Roles

Casey Fields posed for a photo shoot with his one-year-old daughter Lyla to prove that you can still be a 'manly man' and wear a tutu. Thanks to Texas-based photographer Jenn Floyd, this unconventional shoot ended up even grabbing the attention of Good Morning America.

Fields and his daughter Lyla are the two subjects of a photography shoot that has gone viral. Photographer Jenn Floyd was the master behind the creation. Floyd opened her Texas photography studio to Fields and his one-year-old daughter so that they could break down gender stereotypes. The photo shoot received so much attention that it was covered by Good Morning America.

Floyd said on her Facebook post that the father, Casey Fields, "showed his most manly side-the side that isn't afraid to do whatever it takes to make memories with his daughter." After looking through the pictures, it is clear that Floyd succeeding in conveying this important message.

Part of the shoot included Fields dressing in a ballerina tutu and posing with his daughter while engaging in a variety of girl activities. Some of the shots included Fields painting his little girl's toenails, laying down on the ground to color with her, and sharing a pink cookie.

Fields told GMA, that the post of the shoot "blew up within two days." Fields continued, "I’ll do anything for my daughter. It's crazy how fast she has grown. She’s just a funny child and I love her to death."

The doting father also added that he is sure that one day the pair will get a good laugh out of the pictures. Or that he might even be able to use the pictures to embarrass her like most fathers like to do.
