The Voice-contestant Chris Mann released a funny parody of Adele's hit single "Hello" singing about his struggles with social distancing.

During the current COVID-19 pandemic we all try our best to flatten the curve of the virus by social distancing and staying at home. The Voice-contestant Chris Mann is being a good example for his fans as he too is taking the situation seriously by self-isolating at his house in California.

While he’s doing his best to prevent the spread of the disease, he’s also trying to make people smile during these difficult times. A few days ago he decided to make a parody of Adele's hit song "Hello." With the assistance of his wife, Lauren Mann he produced the music for the parody song and filmed a music video on his phone.

But he didn’t just cover Adele’s version of the song, instead, he changed the lyrics of "Hello"  to have them fit the situation at hand. Chris Mann called his parody “Hello (From the Inside),” referring to everybody’s current state of self-isolating.

In his version, the song’s bridge now goes like: "Hello from corona life! I've FaceTime called 1,000 times …To show you, I’m sitting right here on the couch. What's the point of putting on pants anyhow, anymore?"

The parody’s music video shows Chris looking out of his window in despair as he sings about missing to see his neighbors that he now only gets to wave at from afar.

The video also shows a short clip of Chris’s little son watching a Disney film as the song’s line "Is there something else to watch besides the news and Finding Dory?" can be heard.

Chris Mann’s parody surely is a great way to  make people smile during this difficult time. Be sure to let us know if it made you laugh and be sure to spread the joy by passing this article along to others.
