Fans Gush Over ‘Legends’ Nicole Kidman And Keith Urban’s Appearance At Kebab Shop

Country music singer Keith Urban is a legend in his own right. Originally born in New Zealand, Urban has been making waves internationally ever since he landed in Nashville, Tennessee, in the early 1990s. Beloved for his music, he’s also shown himself to be a kind and generous person who seems to always have a positive attitude, which has made him incredibly popular with his fans.

Urban was born on Oct. 26, 1967, in New Zealand and grew up in Queensland, Australia. He is most known for his unique voice, songwriting abilities, and his impeccable skills as a guitarist. Urban released his debut self-titled album in 1991 and moved to the United States the following year, finding his footing in the country music industry. Some of his most well-known songs include “You’ll Think of Me,” “You Look Good in My Shirt,” and “Sweet Thing.” 

On top of his stellar music career, Urban is also married to iconic Australian actress Nicole Kidman, making them one of Hollywood’s most beloved Australian couples. Kidman has starred in a number of films in various film genres, including the movie-musical "Moulin Rouge!" in 2001 and the psychological horror film "The Others" in 2001. Some of her more recent works include the 2020 musical comedy film "The Prom" and the 2021 miniseries "Nine Perfect Strangers," which she both starred in and produced.

There’s no denying that both Urban and Kidman have established themselves in the entertainment industry, but that doesn’t mean that they’ve forgotten their roots. The pair have proven to be very kind to their fans and longtime supporters. So when the stars visited an Australian kebab shop in December 2022, fans were delighted to see the “local legends” in person.

Growing up, Urban had a rough childhood, especially with a father who had never made him feel like he was loved. Ultimately, the musician grew past that and strived to become the father that he wanted to have when he was a child. Thankfully, he has a partner in life, “Days of Thunder” actress Kidman, to share his children with. 

The couple met at G’Day LA, which is an event to honor Australians living in Los Angeles. Their relationship began a few years after Kidman finalized her divorce from her ex-husband, Tom Cruise. Kidman and Urban were married in Sydney, Australia, where they currently reside. 

Urban is now a father to two beautiful kids, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, who was born in 2008 and 2010, respectively. On plenty of occasions, Urban has spoken dearly of his two children, expressing how happy he is to be a father and the experience of seeing them grow. 

Kidman’s relationship with Urban has been incredibly beneficial to her. She has even credited her husband for helping her gain confidence in herself. Before marrying the country singer, Kidman was rather introverted and shy, but has since come out of her shell more. The couple is also very supportive of one another and their respective careers.

Their careers would not be complete without their fans, though, something that Kidman and Urban have shown time and again.

On the road for his “The Speed of Now” World Tour, Urban toured the United States from May 2022 to November 2022, ending in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Among the amazing moments that Urban has shared with his fans during his tour, one interaction seemed to have stood out among the rest – bringing everyone on the internet to tears because of the touching moment.

Urban spotted a little kid with functional needs at one of his concerts in the United States. As a genuine person himself, Urban took the time and paused his performance and decided to approach his fans who were in front of the stage.

A set of parents introduced their 6-year-old son, Kellen, to Urban. The singer even signed the blinged makeshift guitar Kellen had. A video capturing the moment was uploaded on the internet by Kellen’s mother and captioned: “Memories that will last a lifetime.” Eventually, the video went viral and sent everyone watching the moving clip to tears. 

This wasn’t the only time Urban stopped to make a fan’s day. Back in December 2021, he stopped by Manly Seaside Kebabs in Sydney, Australia. The kebab shop posted about it on Instagram, sharing a photo of Urban along with the caption, “Here’s a couple of pictures of some of the legends that blessed our store with their presence ❤️.”

And in December 2022, Urban and Kidman went to the kebab shop together, warming the hearts of their local fans. The shop posted about it on Instagram, uploading a laid-back photograph of the couple with the caption, “Our local legends always supporting us #muchlove #nicolekidman #keithurban.”

Fans were thrilled to see the Australian couple enjoying the local area. One person commented, “They are the greatest.” Another said, “Beautiful people 🥰.” A third person commented, “Nice to see you enjoying your day 😍.” 

Another person was intrigued by what the happy couple might have eaten at the kebab shop. The person asked, “What did they order?… I’m curious. What kind of kebabs do they like?”

It’s nice to see Urban and Kidman enjoying some downtime together!
