Fans Criticize YouTubers Cole And Sav LaBrant For Brutal April Fools’ Prank They Played On Daughter

With many trying to get creative with the April fools’ day pranks, Youtubers Cole and Savannah LaBrant went a little overboard according to the doting fans. The hoax was considered controversial, and their older daughter was the victim.

This is not the first time the LaBrants have been screened for going controversial. Last year the couple took another one of their videos showing them evacuating the wildfires in California.

That wasn’t the problem; the problem came about when they failed to quote in the video that it wasn’t their house in danger.

Many of their fans were angered by the whole video thinking that the couple just faked the entire incidence for views. It was later revealed the family was safe and were on a trip to San Francisco.

Fast forward to this year’s April fools’ day video; the couple chose to have their six-year-old daughter as their prank victim. At the start of the video, they gave a heads up that they didn’t think Everleigh, their daughter, would fall for the prank.

In the video, they revealed to Everleigh that they would be giving her cute puppy away. All family members of the LaBrant family have large followings on social media including the puppy, Carl. From the photos posted on Carl’s social media, he is the cutest thing on earth.

So they posted a video with a tribute to Carl and said that they decided to give away Carl and would give everyone a chance to say goodbye. The parents continue to say that they thought Everleigh wouldn’t be sad about the whole situation.

As the video progresses into the seventh minute, you could see the six-year-old lying on the couch facing down possible crying. Its obvious Everleigh was mad and sad at the same time. Cole is later seen trying to comfort Everleigh telling her to look at the camera and reveal what’s going on, but she is too sad to get up.

After some composure, Everleigh explains that she's crying because she has to give away the puppy away out of lack of adequate care. Everleigh is still sad and nothing that her parents' joke about seems to comfort her.

Her mother starts to crack up in laughter shortly after. The parents tell their daughter that its all a prank but Everleigh is caught too much into her emotions that she continues to cry.

This gives the fans a different perspective on everything. They take Everleigh’s side stating that the joke went a little too overboard.
