It was 2014 when American television newsmagazine Inside Edition visited a Gary, Indiana home that had been deemed by its owner as the “Portal to Hell.”

Mom Latoya Ammons lived in the dwelling with her three children. While living there, she began to experience numerous mysterious and troubling occurrences inside of and around her home.

Instances of horseflies swarming the front porch during frigid wintertime and unexplained figures appearing when the house was empty were nearly as chilling as the odd residue that would flow down the window blinds.

Latoya reached her limit when her daughter was allegedly raised off of her bed as a deep voice could be heard around her, as she told Inside Edition.

After this disturbing experience, Ammons and her family “fled in terror.”

Captain Charles Austin, a 36-year veteran of the police department, was tasked with investigating the peculiar events and became convinced the house was possessed.

The longtime officer was in his patrol car when his radio went static, and the sound reached full blast. He heard a voice abruptly shout, “You in there!”

After an exorcism was performed by a Catholic priest, he allegedly sealed it shut. However, the new owner Zak Bagans, who purchased the home for a mere $35,000, claims the abode is still possessed.

Inside Edition returned to the home for an update alongside the exact Catholic priest who had previously performed the exorcism.
