Discovering your dog ran away can be traumatic. Dogs and cats are not mere pets, as owners develop a strong bond with the animals in their homes. The Metro states that several months after Charlie disappeared from Eva Delgado's home, the women searched for it in vain. Out of the blue, a lady walked the dog past Eva's house, and Eva took notice. She wasn't 100% sure this was Charlie until she called out his name. The dog recognized his name and Eva. Eva then got into a confrontation with the woman who insisted the dog was hers.

Eva eventually tracked Charlie to a garage where she confronted a mechanic working there. The mechanic denied the dog was Charlie, and he claimed to have paper for owning the dog. Eva became suspicious. She had visited the garage before, as she found out Charlie was seen near there when he first disappeared.

Rather than argue with the mechanic, Eva called the police. Eva wisely had Charlie injected with a microchip. The police scanned the dog for the chip, and identifying data showed up. Yes, the dog did turn out to be good-old Charlie.

Charlie now resides with his original family once again. And Eva is weighing options to press charges. In fairness, no one knows for sure if Charlie was stolen. He could have run away and ended up at the garage. Ultimately, the important thing is he returned to his rightful home and a loving family.

All pet owners become despondent when their furry pal disappears. Let the world know about the story of Eva and Charlie. The tale provides hope that a long-lost pet could come home one day.
