Individuals of every age and background come to this yearly spectacle to see the amazing performances and aircraft that are put on display.

The 2019 Air Show featured a KC-135 stratotanker, a B-52 plane, and a search and rescue demonstrated that was performed by the Air Force. Visitors were able to view these aircraft up close and take pictures.

There are two main reasons that people love to come to this event each year.

First and foremost, the stunning displays are truly exciting. There is nothing better than witnessing actual Air Force performances in real time. Many people also attend these events for the valuable information that is offered by members of the armed forces.

This event has been happening for decades and continues to grow in popularity with each passing year.

The Wings of Blue Demonstration Team is one of the most recent highlights of the event. With over 2 million spectators this year, the Air Show has to find a bigger venue each year. College and professional stadiums are usually the chosen venues because of their size and open design.

The performances showcased at the event are usually selected to match the venue where the Air Show is being held.

The Air Force team will practice different performances and use different types of gear in order to keep the event as interesting as possible. One of the most exciting performances sees service members parachuting from 2,500 or 15,000 feet above the ground.

Sometimes, these parachuters will hold different objects that relate to the venue. For example, game balls and streamers have been used in the past.
