Emma Stone Is Getting Married To 'Saturday Night Live' Writer Dave McCary After 2 Years of Dating

Emma Stone is getting married!

Stone's new fiancé Dave McCary posted a photo on Instagram on Wednesday of the two of them, all smiles, as an announcement of their engagement. Emma showed off her sparkly new stone and the image was captioned with a simple "💕" emoji.

The "La La Land" actress and McCary have reportedly been dating since 2017 according to E! News, having been spotted out and about in New York City.

Dave McCary is a regular writer on "Saturday Night Live" and also directs several segments on the show. He was part of the Good Neighbor comedy group along with fellow cast members Kyle Mooney and Beck Bennett, who also worked with them on his feature film, the acclaimed "Brigsby Bear."

Vulture reports that he and Emma Stone met on SNL in 2016 when she hosted the show. The episode is known for the hilarious "Wells for Boys" sketch which she starred in, and her now-fiancé directed.
