Emma Heming Shares Magical Video Of Bruce Willis Dancing Following Aphasia Diagnosis

When it comes to top-notch actors in Hollywood, Bruce Willis is a name that many people would put on that list. The former actor is most famous for his roles in action films, but he has shown to have quite a diverse set of talents, appearing in films and television shows in a variety of genres. On top of that, Willis is also adored for his amazing qualities as a husband and father.

Willis was born on Mar. 19, 1955, in Idar-Oberstein, Germany. He grew up with a German mother and an American father, who was stationed in the United States military at the time of his birth. In 1957, the family moved to the United States and raised Willis in Penns Grove, New Jersey.

In his teens, Willis discovered his passion for acting and began participating in his high school’s dramatic arts program. He later moved to New York City and appeared in a few off-Broadway plays before finally finding his footing in the world of television and film.

He had his breakthrough in 1985 with the TV series “Moonlighting,” and has since appeared in over 70 films. While he is recognized for his work as an action star, Willis has also shown that his talents span a variety of genres. Some of his most loved films include “Pulp Fiction,” “The Sixth Sense” and “Die Hard.”

The notable star announced his retirement in March 2022 and has since received plenty of support from his fans, friends and family members. And in October 2022, Willis’ wife, Emma Heming, shared a heartwarming video of the retired actor dancing his heart out.

Willis is no stranger to having his personal life in the spotlight. He was famously married to actress Demi Moore from 1987 to 2000 and had three children together: Rumer, Scout and Tallulah. Despite their split, Willis and Moore remained friends and are still close to this day.

Fortunately, Willis didn’t give up on love, and he finally found his way to Heming, the woman he now calls his wife. Heming is a model and an actress who was first discovered when she was just 16 years old. She has appeared in several advertisements around the world for multiple brands, and she has also walked several fashion shows for designers such as Christian Dior, Chanel and Valentino.

Back in 2009, Willis revealed that it only took one date for him and Heming to fall in love with each other. “We went on one date, on the Friday before Emma was getting ready to move back to New York, and then we fell mad crazy in love,” he said. “When you think about where are you going to find that big love of your life, you seldom think it’s someone you already know. You think it’s someone you’re yet to meet.”

And ever since, Willis and Heming have been inseparable. In 2009, Willis and Heming tied the knot. They later went on to build a beautiful family together. They welcomed their first daughter, Mabel, in April 2012 and their second daughter, Evelyn, in May 2014. Heming is also a stepmother to Willis' three daughters from his marriage with Moore. The big blended family gets along well and even regularly takes photos together for social media.

In March 2022, Willis’ family announced his retirement as he had been diagnosed with aphasia. According to John Hopkins, aphasia is a language disorder caused by damage in a specific area of the brain that controls language expression and comprehension. This disorder leaves a person unable to communicate with others effectively and can sometimes even cause the afflicted to no longer understand the speech of others correctly.

Since then, Willis’ family has continued to share sweet photos and videos of the star from his heyday all the way until now. But there was one video that stood out amongst the rest as it showed Willis living it up – something that was echoed in his retirement announcement post, which stated: “Live it up.”

In October 2022, Heming shared a heartwarming video of Willis and their daughters on Instagram. In the video, Willis could be seen dancing his heart out, running around, laughing, and overall enjoying life with his girls. Heming captioned the post:

“We don’t believe in perfection over here but #oursummer2022 was pretty close to it. In fact it was magic ☀️🥰”

Many people were thrilled to see Willis in such high spirits. His ex-wife, Moore, even left a comment on the post, simply leaving a heart emoji. Another comment from an Instagram user was beautiful, as she wrote:

“Just beautiful and it is wonderful to see you both. My husband was diagnosed with Parkinsonism and I am alot (sic) younger than him. Initially it was devastating and challenging to adjust. However, my time with with him is a privilege and the Love is sustained by the deep fundamental level of integrity, kindness and respect. That is as close to perfection u can get.”
