Emma Heming Honors 14 Years Of Marriage To ‘Greatest Love’ Bruce Willis With Touching Vow Renewal Video

Since Bruce Willis’s family announced he was retiring from acting in March 2022 after being diagnosed with aphasia, they have all banded together around him to love and support him through his difficult transition. They again closed ranks when they broke the devastating news that the actor had also been diagnosed with dementia in February 2023. 

Bruce’s big, blended family has continued to support him without fail through his condition and has shared with the world their beautiful moments with him through social media. On the occasion of their 14th wedding anniversary, Bruce’s wife took to Instagram to share a touching memory from 2019 when they renewed their vows.

Bruce is one of the most legendary Hollywood actors of all time. He is most famous for his roles in action films, including the “Die Hard” franchise, as well as notable roles in “Pulp Fiction,” “Armageddon” and “The Sixth Sense,” among other films. During his nearly 40-year career, Bruce showed off quite a diverse set of talents, as he appeared in films and television shows in a variety of genres and even showed off his skills as a singer. 

On top of that, Bruce is also adored for his amazing qualities as a husband and father. Bruce first married actress Demi Moore in 1987, and the two had three daughters together. Although they divorced in 2000, they remained good friends and great co-parents.

Bruce didn’t give up on love, and he finally found his way to model and actress Emma Heming, whom he married in 2009. In 2017, Bruce spoke highly of finding love with Heming. “I don’t want to be away from Emma at all,” he told Closer Weekly. “It’s the most singular relationship I’ve ever had in my life.”

Since then, Bruce and Heming have built a beautiful life and family together. They welcomed their first daughter, Mabel, in April 2012 and their second daughter, Evelyn Penn, in May 2014. Heming is also a stepmother to Bruce’s three daughters – Rumer, Scout and Tallulah Willis – from his marriage with Moore. The big blended family gets along well and regularly share photos together on social media.

On March 19, 2023, to celebrate Bruce’s 68th birthday. Moore posted a short video that showed Bruce in high spirits alongside his loved ones. In the video, all of Bruce’s loved ones sang “Happy Birthday” before the actor blew out the candles on his cake. Moore captioned the video:

“Happy birthday, BW! So glad we could celebrate you today. Love you and love our family. Thank you to everyone for the love and warm wishes — we all feel them.”

Heming also shared two posts for her husband’s birthday. The first was a video of her talking to her followers, in which she admitted, “I do have times of sadness every day, grief, every day, and I’m really feeling it today on his birthday.” She wrote in the caption:

“Today is one of those days of feeling the grief and sadness. But the silver lining or the flip side is that I’m so lucky to feel your warmth and love that is directed to my husband and our family. I see your messages, your stories that you share, and all I can say is thank you.”

Heming’s second video was a compilation of sweet moments of Bruce and his family. She wrote in the caption:

“He is pure love. He is so loved. And I’ll be loving him always. Happy Birthday my sweet 💌”

Heming took to Instagram again to pay tribute to her husband on Mar. 21, 2023, their 14th wedding anniversary. She posted a compilation of videos from 2019, when the pair renewed their vows. The video showed Bruce and Heming surrounded by their family and friends as Coldplay’s “Fix You” played. Heming wore a beige sundress and walked barefoot as Bruce, dressed in white topped with a straw fedora, smiled and laughed. Heming wrote in the caption:

“On our 10th wedding anniversary we decided to renew our vows in the same place we said “I do” back in 2009. I’m so happy we did. Seize every opportunity to unite and celebrate with family and friends. Those are the moments and beautiful pockets of memories that you get to hold on to for a lifetime. And we get to keep those memories safe and alive for the ones that might not be able to 💌” 

She also gave thanks to her videographer Moore, wedding singers Scout and Rumer, and her daughters for being her flower girls. 

That same day, Heming shared another post in which she detailed how a friend truly showed up for her and left her flowers as an anniversary gift. “Today marks 14 years of marriage to the greatest love of my life. I woke with my heart full but what my mind kept going back to was another person’s act of kindness yesterday,” she wrote in the caption. She said after mentioning to her friend it was her anniversary, the friend surprised her with a bouquet at the door. She continued in the caption:

“If you know someone that is looking after someone else, don’t ask what you can do, just do. This random act of kindness will honestly stay with me for a long time.”
