Elvis Presley died in 1977, but as we look at his family today, we can all agree, he lives on through them. Elvis married Priscilla Presley in 1967, and they had a daughter named Lisa Marie Presley in 1968.

They lived in Memphis, Tennessee, at the house known as "Graceland." Lisa Marie was Elvis Presley's only child. In the early parts of 1972, Priscilla left Elvis due to the pressures of his lifestyle. The couple divorced by 1973 and Elvis met Ginger Alden, who later became his fiancee.

Elvis was never the same after he and Priscilla split up. By the time Elvis reached 42 years old, he had multiple health issues which claimed his life in 1977. Ginger was the one who found him lying on the bathroom floor inside his home.

The autopsy showed Elvis had died from cardiac arrest. He was overweight and was on quite a few prescriptions.

With Lisa Marie Presley standing side by side with her mother, you can hardly tell the two apart. They look like sisters more than mother and daughter. Lisa Marie followed in her father's footsteps and became a singer and songwriter in the music industry.

She had a few small hits, but nothing compared to her father. Lisa also went on to have four children who are known as the descendants of the King of Rock and Roll.

Lisa Marie's oldest daughter, Riley Keough, is a successful model and actress. Her grandfather, Elvis, was also an actor who made many movies on the big screen. Elvis was interested in continuing his acting career but went back to performing on stage until his death.

He had another tour scheduled just days after he passed away. He never made it. Elvis' granddaughter, Riley, is living his dream through her acting career. She has a younger brother, who is now a musician named Benjamin.
