Ellen Pranks The Kind And Funny Elementary School Teacher, Flies In Students, Leaving Him In Splits

Some teachers love their jobs while others just do it to make a paycheck. Joe Dombrowski is one of the teachers that loves what they do. He takes pride in being helping children fill their minds with knowledge.

He wants to make sure that the kids have all advantages possible in life. Dombrowski, Mr. D known to the kids, wanted to have some fun while teaching one day. He made up an elaborate spelling test that was completely fake.

He knew it was something that he and others would want to look back at so he decided to record it. It's hilarious! It even caught the eye of Ellen DeGeneres!

Mr. D didn't expect his video to go viral. It was just some fun he was having with the kids. The next thing he knew there were people from all over the world viewing his video. The hits to the video were in the millions. He told NBC 25 News that he couldn't believe how big the response to the video was and he was so excited to have a chance to chat with Ellen by telephone.

He said that when he woke up the next morning there was a total of a million views and then the very next day there was over 20 million.

Ellen invited Mr. D to be on her program. What he didn't know about was the prank. She eventually gave him a check for $10k. He could've easily spent that on himself. But, that's not what he did. He used the money to better all the classrooms in the school.

This little example is just a tiny look into his huge heart. Mr. D said that teaching is rewarding for the students and the teachers.

After Ellen heard that he donated the check, she had him back on her show again. Instead of straight out honoring him with another check, she decided to start him off with another prank. She flew in all of his students from Michigan to California. Once he came out and saw the students, he noticed that something wasn't quite right.

It took him a minute, but he eventually figured out the prank. This wasn't the only surprise she had for him.
