Ella Bleu Travolta Shows Off Her Father-Daughter Connection In Heartfelt Post

Oct 13, 2021 by apost team

It's been almost 43 years since the hit movie "Grease" rocked the worlds of people across the globe and made John Travolta, 67, the superstar that he is today. John Travolta went on to have a decades-spanning career, but it's hard to forget him as Danny Zuko in "Grease"—the black-haired stud who broke the hearts of women all over the world. After marrying fellow actor Kelly Preston, who herself was a bombshell of her time, the couple had daughter Ella Bleu Travolta back in 2000.
2020 was a long year for everyone but especially the Travolta family, who lost their matriarch in July following a battle with breast cancer. Since then, John Travolta has made a few public mentions of the family's loss, as has his lookalike daughter Ella Bleu Travolta. The Travolta family celebrated their first Christmas without Preston last year.
The family has been grieving, but slowly and steadily, they've been showing that they're moving on in life, with Preston's memory firmly in their minds. John Travolta has always been a proud dad, but especially in the last year, John has proven himself to be a true family man who's always there for his two children Ella Bleu Travolta and Benjamin Travolta.

Needless to say, the bond between John Travolta and his daughter Ella Bleu is a strong one. In honor of Father-Daughter Day on Mondy, Oct. 11, 2021, Ella Bleu took to Instagram to tribute her father in a sweet post.

John Travolta has been in the spotlight since the 1970s, having graced the screen in many classic movies, including "Grease" and "Saturday Night Fever," through to his famed comeback in the 1990s in "Pulp Fiction," "Get Shorty," "Face/Off," and many more. His late wife, Kelly Preston, who tragically passed away from breast cancer at the age of 57 in July 2020, was also a well-known actress, starring in such movies as "Jerry Maguire" and "For the Love of the Game."

The couple started spending more time together, and soon enough, Preston and Travolta married in 1991 and had babies on their minds. Over the following years, their children JettElla Bleu, and Benjamin were born. Tragically, however, Jett Travolta passed away in 2009 at the age of 16 due to an unexpected seizure and resulting fall. This, together with Preston's untimely death in 2020, means that the Travolta family is no stranger to tragedy. In light of this, it is completely understandable that the remaining children and their father have formed a very close bond.

Despite the hardships the family has faced, they still find time to spend together and have fun, like in the Superbowl commercial earlier in 2021. Father and daughter teamed up for a musical advertisement appearance in their lush, green backyard, re-creating the famous hand jive that John was known for in 1978.

Ella Bleu, now 21-years-old, has followed in her famous parents' footsteps and begun working as an actress. And considering her looks — coming from both of her parents — it's no surprise Ella Bleu wants to work in show business.

Speaking with People in 2019, she stated,

"Since I was very little, I've loved performing, singing, dancing, and putting on shows at home for my family and friends."

She already made her acting debut all the way back in 2009 in the movie "Old Dogs," which also starred both of her parents, as well as Robin Williams. Ella Bleu told Celebrity Pulse, "It was awesome to act with my parents in my first movie, it made it a lot easier." Since then, she's starred with her father once more in the movie "The Poison Rose."

When it comes to Ella's favorite movies featuring her parents, she said:

"Oh my gosh, all of them are absolutely amazing, so that's really hard (to pick), but some of my top favorites of my dad's are "From Paris with Love," and obviously "Grease."

Ella Bleu talked about how she seeks her father's advice as she told People:

"It helped so much having my dad there. It was so comforting and he's the best mentor ever...I love that it's sort of the family business!"

Ella also stressed how her parents would have supported her regardless of her career choice:

"Whatever I would have chosen to do they would have supported me. But they're really proud of me for (acting)…and that makes me proud too!"

The father-daughter duo's working relationship seems to be a very positive and good one.

In honor of Father-Daughter Day on Mondy, Oct. 11, 2021, Ella Bleu took to Instagram to show just how close she is to her dad. The caption said:

"Happy Father-Daughter Day to my hero, my best friend. I love you so much Daddy❤️❤️❤️"
