Ed's performance style suits the song really well. He has a tender, emotional voice and accompanies himself on the guitar. It's that simple and sweet combination that captures the intense emotion of this love song.

Ed's singing mimics the soulful sound of being in a church. No wonder the audience went wild. Do you think that Ed's cover did the song justice?

The tribute concert is styled after Elvis' own "comeback concert" from 1968. The song covers were interspersed with footage of Elvis and interviews with the people who knew him best. NBC even set up the stage to mimic the vintage one.

What's your favorite Elvis song? We know there are lots to choose from! Elvis had so many different performance "eras" that showed off his range. From genre to genre - blues to early rock & roll - the "King" mastered them all.
