Dylan Sprouse & Barbara Palvin Welcome Baby Girl & Her Name Couldn’t Be Sweeter

Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse have officially entered their parent era — and they already have a very sweet name for their new little girl.

The model and the former Disney Channel star welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Sylvie, in September 2026. Sprouse revealed their daughter’s name during the Sept. 29, 2026, episode of his “Wildmen” podcast, nearly two weeks after her arrival.

Sprouse has also been open about his excitement over becoming a girl dad. The actor previously revealed that he and Palvin were expecting a daughter during the debut episode of “Wildmen” in July. At the time, he joked about entering unfamiliar territory after growing up surrounded largely by boys, while also insisting that he was looking forward to the experience. He even embraced the idea of tea parties.

The couple’s journey to parenthood began publicly in May, when Palvin debuted her baby bump at the Cannes Film Festival. The Victoria’s Secret model walked the red carpet alongside Sprouse in a powder-blue gown, confirming their pregnancy after months of keeping the news private.

In July, the pair revealed that they were expecting a baby girl, whom Sprouse said they had been affectionately calling “principessa,” the Italian word for princess.

“Which I don’t know why that’s been our like...well, it’s Italian for princess,” he said, adding they were “having a baby girl, which I’m very excited about.”

“I’m excited to be a girl dad, actually,” he continued.

Palvin and Sprouse’s romance dates back to 2018, after Sprouse first reached out to the model through social media. The pair eventually married in Hungary in July 2023, tying the knot in Palvin’s home country after years together.

Now, the couple is settling into life as a family of three — with Sprouse already offering fans a glimpse into his enthusiasm for fatherhood.

“It’s been about almost two weeks now since she’s been out and she’s very lovely,” Sprouse said on the podcast before sharing the name that he and Palvin had chosen for their daughter.

“Her name is Sylvie. Baby Sylvie. Sylvie Sprouse.”

The couple first announced that they had become parents on Sept. 28, 2026, sharing a low-key family photo on Instagram. In the picture, Palvin and Sprouse were seen from behind as they watched a Los Angeles Dodgers game, with their newborn daughter nestled in Sprouse’s arms.

All three members of the new family were dressed in Dodgers jerseys, making the baseball-themed introduction particularly on-brand for the couple. Palvin kept the caption just as playful, writing:

“We took Labor Day literally this year 👼🏻.”

Their daughter was born on Sept. 7, which fell on Labor Day in 2026. The couple had previously kept many details about their baby private, including her name, before Sprouse finally introduced Sylvie to listeners on his podcast.

During the podcast, he described Sylvie as a “very well-behaved” baby and joked about her personality and resemblance to him. He also revealed that he has been enjoying dressing his daughter and sharing Dodgers games with her.

For Palvin and Sprouse, their latest chapter may be a little less glamorous than the Cannes red carpet — but it looks like they are embracing it one adorable Dodgers jersey at a time.
