Due To Crooked Snout Dog Is Constantly Ignored At Shelter Until Staff Posts A Picture Of Him

Dogs are known for having wet noses and snouts that want to get into everything! But poor Mosley has a more distinct feature with his nose – his snout is crooked and twisted to one side. While his nose gave him some character, workers at the shelter where he landed were unsure how his snout would impact his chances for adoption.

Not only was Mosley older and a dark-colored dog, but it seemed that his crooked nose might be the last straw. Workers were afraid that he would never find a home. But that’s when the social media changed everything.

As soon as the shelter took to the internet to share a picture of Mosley, everyone who saw it fell in love. Within a short period of time, this 'unwanted' dog was an internet sensation that everyone wanted to welcome into their home.

What is Mosley’s personality like? Despite his deformity, he’s just like most dogs. He has a sweet and outgoing disposition, and never meets a human that he doesn’t like.

Lindsey and Anson were still grieving the death of their own dog and didn’t think they were ready for another pooch – until they stumbled across Mosley’s photos online. They both knew that he was the dog that they needed in their lives.

Realizing that Mosley’s popularity would probably make him impossible for them to adopt, Lindsey and Anson called the shelter immediately. To their surprise, they were allowed to get a ten-minute visit with the dog. During their short visit, the couple fell totally in love and asked to start the adoption process.

That day, Mosley found himself a home of his own where he would be loved in spite of his deformity.

While no one is sure where Mosley got his start, he is well-trained, leading shelter workers to think that he had been cared for in the past. This is the second shelter that Mosley had been in, but the first one that had faith enough to help him find a home!

Mosley is now the happy member of Lindsey and Anson’s family, he not only loves their two little boys but also gets along great with their cat!

We are so glad that this special dog found a family that values him and his differences. Have you ever seen a pet that suffered from a birth defect? Let us know in the comments and be sure to pass this article along to others!
