Duane “Dog” Chapman gave a tearful eulogy at his late wife, Beth Chapman’s funeral in Colorado last weekend.

The reality TV star fought back the tears as he went over Beth’s life from the day they met through when, to their TV show, to her passing this past June.

The bounty huntress died on June 26th following a two year battle with throat cancer; she was only 51 years old. Her family mourned her loss across social media and held memorial service for her in Waikiki, Hawaii, which was open to the public. They hosted a second memorial service for her in Aurora, Colorado, this past Saturday which was also open to the public.

Several members of the Chapman family gave moving eulogies about Beth. However, Duane’s ode to his wife was one of the most heartbreaking. Half-way through his speech, Duane paused and then choked back tears as he shouted,

“I cannot believe that she is gone; this is not possible; I want to wake up from a dream.”

He regained his composure and continued to go on with his eulogy for his wife where he called Beth the “lion tamer” of the family.

“She will never be dead to me. She is in another place,” Duane continued.

In other parts of his eulogy, he broke down about how much he loved Beth and how she was the rock of the Chapman family.

Duane’s upcoming show on WGN TV “Dog’s Most Wanted” will feature Beth Chapman as filming started before her passing. Beth had been by Duane’s side on their way to stardom as he recalled in his speech to Beth her saying,

“We’re going to Hollywood baby.”

Our deepest condolences go out to the Chapman family at this time. RIP Beth Chapman.
