Drowning Dog Cries Out For Help From Frozen Pond, Finally Hero Runs Onto Ice And Rips Off Clothes

This dog would've drowned or froze. Luckily, a man acted quickly and saved the pup.

How keen are your survival instincts? Sometimes we are put into situations where our fight or flight response kicks in, even if we aren’t the ones in need of saving! Thankfully, for one man, his instincts were strong enough to know exactly what to do in an emergency situation! A man living in Russia saw something that he couldn’t believe one day after spotting something unusual in the pond.

A dog was quickly drowning in the pond and couldn’t find it’s way out! It seems like the dog was lured into the frozen pond from ducks that were traveling past it. However, the dog became stuck in the frozen ice after it collapsed and he was unable to save himself from the icy and cold water.

The man knew that the dog needed to be saved or he would not survive the incident, so he took it upon himself to rescue the animal! With no shoes or shirt, he takes off running in order to capture the animal from the icy waters. Even though the dog became snarling at him out of fear, the man showed no signs of being scared and still worked to retrieve the dog.

Upon getting close to the animal, it seemed as if the dog was trapped in a net or rope. Most likely out of panic, the dog bit the man’s hand, but he still worked diligently to help the dog escape these dire circumstances.

Time was running out for the dog and the possibility of him drowning was becoming a real outcome. However, just before things got even more disastrous, the man was able to grab the dog’s scruff, located on the neck, and pulled him to safety away from the pond. The man also retracted from the pond and got himself in a safer situation.

Thankfully, the dog bite injury wasn’t serious as it was checked out by the authorities and deemed to be harmless. The dog was found to be a stray animal who wanders around the area and was taken somewhere safe and warm.
